English Course Catalogue

INSA HdF offers a wide range of courses in Science and Technology, from undergraduate to doctoral level. Courses are mainly taught in French but we offer a number of courses in English.

The INSA curriculum is 5 years long and leads to the "Diplôme d'ingénieur", equivalent to a Master of Science.
It is divided into two tracks:

• Years 1 and 2: a common pathway for all engineering students to ensure solid fundamental knowledge
• Years 3, 4 and 5, organized into 9 engineering fields called Departments.

Exchange students are welcome in all departments of INSA HdF. 

The majority of courses must be taken in one of the 8 Departments, then additional courses may be chosen in another. A semester cannot exceed 30 ECTS credits. On average, 1 ECTS credit corresponds to 20 hours of classroom instruction and personal work.
