Matthieu Ems is a young mechanical researcher who is working to ensure that we breathe clean air in train and metro stations.

As part of the scientific leadership of the Mechanics department of LAMIH, I am pleased to announce the seminar by Adrian CLENCI, University Professor and  Vice-Rector in charge of Scientific Research and Digitization at the University of Pitești (UPIT) on Thursday November 30 at 2:00 pm in amphitheatre E1 of the Claudin le Jeune 1 building.

As part of the scientific leadership of the Sciences de l'Homme et du Vivant (SHV) du LAMIH, a seminar will be held by Antoine PERRIER, podiatrist, engineer, PhD, HdR in biomechanics, attaché at the Pitié Salpêtrière and Croix Saint-Simon hospitals (Paris), associate researcher at the Muséum National d'Histoire Naturelle (MNHN) and the TIMC laboratory (Grenoble).

I am pleased to invite you to my thesis defense, entitled "Modeling the diffusion of particles from rail braking - Application to the underground network " and carried out as part of the BREAQ project, led by Alstom.

Defense of the thesis "Stratégies de stabilité en position assise chez les personnes vivant avec une lésion de la moelle épinière : de l'estimation utilisant des modèles descripteurs quasi-LPV à la validation expérimentale" by Hajer SRIHI, doctoral student in the automatic control department at LAMIH.

The defence will take place on Thursday 21 December 2023 at 10 a.m. in Amphithéâtre 70 A in the Bâtiment Abel de Pujol 2 - Le Mont Houy, Valenciennes.
